Resources for Families

These are just a few of the many resources and support groups that are available online. These are sites that I have personally found helpful.

  • www.nowilaymedowntosleep.org Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep offers free professional remembrance photography to families suffering the loss of their baby.
  • www.carlymarieprojectheal.com Practicing the art of self-care & mindfulness to heal your heart & inspire wholehearted living after the death of a baby or child.
  • www.theseashoreofremembrance.blogspot.com.au The Seashore of Remembrance gives families the opportunity to honor a loved one who has passed away in a unique & meaningful way. Names are inscribed in the sand under sunsets for babies, children and adults of any age or gestation that have passed away.
  • www.babiesremembered.org A wonderful site by local MN author, Sherokee Ilse, that is packed with tons of resources, booklets, videos, etc.
  • www.starlegacyfoundation.org Dedicated to research and education to prevent stillbirth.
  • www.mend.org A Christian not-for-profit corporation whose purpose is to reach out to those who have lost a child due to miscarriage, stillbirth or early infant death and offer a way to share experiences and information through support groups, the quarterly newsletter, and Internet web site.
  • www.recover-from-grief.com "Hope and Health Through Creative Grieving." A unique website that offers inside on dealing with grief and memorial ideas.
  • www.missinggrace.org A national non-profit organization that provides support, education, and resources for families experiencing pregnancy loss, infant loss or adoption challenges

If you feel that something is missing from this list please email me. I will do my best to update the list on a regular basis.
